Selected By: Ben McDonald

We'll be giving an overview of Ruby on Rails geared towards people with experience developing with other platforms. We will cover the basics of what it does and how it works, as well as dispelling myths about what it can and can't do. I think you're right, Charles. Even if it were, his/her preferred dress is not really appropriate for the ICS office. I removed the user from the group.

You can bring your laptop. I will be walking you through starting a new rails app, installing a dependency, and making some basic functionality.

I am new to learning ROR and I see lots of discussions on IDE's, Is it recommended to use one and if so what would be a good choice for a someone just learning?
Some example I have seen are Vim, Netbeans and Redcar.

Hey guys, very excited to be hosting you guys. We are working on a final head count and would love it if you could RSVP if you haven't already, and confirm your RSVP if you have (by that I mean change your status if you know you can't make it). There is plenty of parking and due to the great response we will be breaking up into two rooms.
